Hot Tips

I've been enjoying flowers lately. I don't think I will be able to exhaust their potential as a source material for a long time.  I tend to oscillate between a few areas of interest from painting to painting, but I think I will be returning here often. 

In this piece, I worked with washy watercolor backgrounds, silhouettes of plants, and intense color. Its my happy place.
